Andrew Horne of Ai Architects has refined the concept design for a new home in Park Street Pringle Bay. The contemporary timber frame home is placed on stilts so that the patio, main bedroom and and Kitchen/Living room are spatially integrated with the views and the North Sun optimised.
The stairwell wing protects the front door and the entry experience from the South East winds. The stairwell’s corner window washes the adjacent walls with light and makes the most of the dramatic mountain views.
The design for future expansion has been completed ensuring that services and ducts line up and that nothing will be in the way of the extra two suites, living room and double garage when the time comes to implement phase 2.
